I’d like to officially say, I HATE ALL TOY STORES. I went to 4 different places to find the basic Star Wars Stormtrooper from episodes 4-6. WTF?! 2 Toys R Us, Target and Wal-Mart. They all had the same fcuking toys! I’m starting to hate Clone Wars because the characters look stupid and it seems they are pushing the original Star Wars characters out of existence.

I need to find a Stormtrooper action figure as my travel buddy. I’ll go into more detail about my “travel buddy” as soon as I find a suitable companion(action figure/toy). I don’t want to order a small 3.75” action figure online because a Stormtrooper should have it’s rightful place sold along with all Star Wars products.

If all hope fails with my longing of a Stormtrooper action figure, I’d also consider an Edward Cullen, Wall-E, Mike Wizowski, Tusken Raider(GOOD FCUKING LUCK) or a Hulk action figure. Random and bad-ass? I’d have to agree. Edward isn’t bad-ass, its just random.

BTW, action figures aren’t as cool as they were before. They’re just lame.

March 29:
Decided to try Toys R Us on Winchester to see if they had my Stormtrooper. As we walked into the establishment, we walked into a marketing trap. An eye catching row of Twilight Memorabilia drew my attention to a certain action figure. There were three different Edward Cullen toys, a barbie doll(the lame photo a few posts down), a blue shirted ass with glitter and the Blade shades. I was contemplating on the glitter or blade shades, so I decided to come back to this dilemma and continue on with my journey to seek the Stormtrooper.

Approximately seven and a half minutes into the store, I finally came face-to-face with the Star Wars isle. I did notice the shelves were fully stocked and had a better selection than the previous stores. Unfortunately, 89% of the toys were Clone Wars characters. I brushed off the doubt and started digging into the lost hope of hanging action figures. I noticed on the edges of the packages there are pictures of the characters which made the search easier. As I dug through losing hope of finding the Stormtrooper, I saw a character outlined in blue on the package and it was the only ‘cool colored’ package in the shelf. I reached out and maneuvered the package off the hook. IT WAS A FUCKING STORMTROOPER. I exchanged “fuck yeahs” and “fuck yous” to myself in glee and ran off.

I went back to the front of the store to the Twilight section. Edward is pretty lame and random so I had to get the coolest looking toy. OMG MY DOWNLOAD FOR MW2 MAP IS DONE!!! I BOUGHT THE EDWARD WITH SUNGLASSES BECAUSE I LIKE BLADE, HE’S BADASS. GRABBED HIM AND PURCHASED THE TWO ACTION FIGURES. I WENT HOME AND HAD FUN. KBAI!!!!!!!!!

Last night, Quynh-Nhu and I ate at Cafe Artemis in The Pruneyard. Like all Mediterranean food joints, its nothing too outstanding(in my opinion). The atmosphere was nice, I guess it gives the impression of being somewhere in the Mediterranean. I haven't been to Greece or Croatia or any Mediterranean country. I'm being biased and comparing this restaurant's interior with all the other Mediterranean restaurants I've been to. Point being, its a typical Mediterranean restaurant. Warm-colored lights with Cool-colored paintings.
Quynh-Nhu ordered Kiremit Kofte which is lamb patties in marinara sauce with some cream cheese. I ordered this pizza but I can't remember what it was called. Basically it was minced lamb, vegetables and spices on slices of thin bread. Oh, for the appetizer, we ordered Saganaki which is breaded cheese(the best thing we had there). For dessert, we had Chocolate Tartufo(powdered brownies) and Kazandibi(custard with caramel and raspberry sauce).
4 out of 5 stars, worth trying if you enjoy Mediterranean food. The waiters are nice and your cups are refilled every 13 seconds.

Today is Tuesday, and I feel like I have a lot of things to take care of today. I'll blog whatever I plan to do today on another day. Let's recap..

Met up with Anthony and Renee to watch them do a photo shoot of a baby(I don't remember her name). It was pretty chill because Renee's mom is the manager of an apartment complex at Avalon Skyway, so they get to use the demo apartments as a studio. Here are some pictures I snapped before I headed out.

After the photo shoot, I headed to Huy Dao's place to shoot the 2nd Installment of my project Blog Lapse. It was the first time I've shoot a time lapse in that style. I don't think its really a time lapse, its just a video with motion blur. I don't really know the term of that, but I was really happy with the final video. I had to shoot on a small cf card(2g) so I had to lower the dimensions(quality) to save space. I should have edited the pictures just to correct some coloring and some details, but in the end, I think the video is fine the way it is. I messed around with my friend Anthony's flash by making it fire overhead. Here are some stills.

This week has started off very good for me. For some weird reason, I'm pretty confident to say, this week will be a good week. Sunday started on the sour side, but as the day went on, I finally got into the creamy center and the day turned out to be pretty good. On Monday, Q and I decided to go to Carmel-by-the-sea(near Monterey, just down the highway). Yesterday(Tuesday) I had my job interview at ReMax Real Estate as a front desk receptionist. I thought the interview went well, but we'll see how I did when they call me back(if). Later that night, shot a little time lapse video and made an awesome dinner with friends. Today, I have a telephone-interview with The First Bank. Hopefully, all goes well.

Nikon d70

I've messed around with my friend's Nikon d70 and as I snapped photos I compared it to my Canon. I can't really say one is better than the other because I had fun shooting with both cameras. I don't know very much about Nikon and it's ba-jillion settings and two different auto-focuses, but I got the hang of it as I snapped pictures of random still-life things around my house.

There are things that I must point out though comparing the d70 to the 20d, xT and xTi.
The only thing that bummed me out about the Nikon d70 is that the lowest iso is 200. I understand that you can barely tell the difference between 100 to 200 in general picture taking. As you start taking photos at night or things that need long exposure, the difference between 100 to 200 can be easily noticed. Other than that, I'm fine with everything else. The Nikon d70 may be a low budget camera(all I've been shooting are low budget cameras), you can still work wonders and create amazing photographs with it. I can get into more depth, but there's really no point in doing so. Here are two photos that the d70 spawned from earlier.

One After Another

I've decided to add to my list of photography projects. Making time lapses of people's life style in their homes. Its very simple really, hangout with them and let the camera do its own thing for a good hour or two. I'll be working on a really short video later today, so I'll get that posted as soon as I finish it.

This little segment is 599 photos long and when that's all put together, its about 1:30. I'm aiming at least around 2:15 videos which is over a thousand photos to put together. Usually it will take me at least 4+ hours to get my time lapses together. Well check this blog out later today/night.

EDIT:
The project is called project Blog Lapse. Here's my first video, its short but enjoy. I'm going to turn my critical thinking cap to make angles and colors more interesting in the time lapses. For now, this will do(that'll do pig, that'll do).

On the other note, I'm going to upload most of my videos on vimeo. I'm having too many problems with youtube.

I haven't signed into my blog for nearly a year, possibly longer. I'm guessing blogging is a good way to keep your friends(or strangers) up-to-date about your daily routine. Blogging can also be a digital diary to which you can rant about how much something pisses you off or how Janis is a slut for cheating on Brett. On the bright side, I'll consider updating my blog as much as possible. Depending on how lazy I am to jot useless crap to the world wide web, my goal is to at least blog once a week. It seems to be an easy goal being that a blog a week won't keep a reader occupied on my site for no more than 5 minutes. Doesn't mean that I'll blog only once a week, I'm just saying that will be the minimum boundary I should stay above.

I'm pretty sure many people have seen my Flickr. Lately, I've been interested in different techniques of shooting my portraits. Bokeh(the art of blur) is one example of spicing up your night/dark photographs. Though I prefer black and white photos over colored, I've recently started to shoot more colored portraits so I can mess around with colors and lighting effects. So I'll keep everybody posted on how all that comes along.

I've talked to a few friends about a photo project just to keep our asses up from chairs and get us around and about. I have two projects in mind that seem reasonably doable. First, snapping photos of objects beginning with each letter in the alphabet(A-Z). Second, snapping 100 photos of 100 strangers. Honestly, when it comes to actually doing it, my shyness level goes up and I start to pussy out. My hypothesis is that 75% of the men and women you ask to take a photo of will say NO. Seems logical, but I'll man-up and ask people(kindly). I'm not 100% sure these projects will go through, but like I said before, I'll keep everybody posted.

Gettin' a New Car

Ive finally decided to take the family car off my cousin Keith's hands. Its a 1969 Datsun 510 Sedan. As soon as I find a legit job I should get this bad boy running. My aunt built this car up in the 70s to mid 80s and since then its been sitting in storage. Until about a few years back my cousin took the car. Unfortunately, he left it outside windows down during the rain season so Im pretty sure rust is going to be a big deal. All I have to do is replace some seals anything rubber, brake lines, transmission and tires. It has a japanese motor but I couldnt quite make out what motor it is, full roll cage and my aunt's stiff suspension set up. Well the pictures I have so far are the ones just taken out of storage, in about a week or two Im going up to Grass Valley and take a look at it.

I'm sitting at someone's house alone in berkeley. I tried to sleep but some fucking fuckers in the top apartment is having a surprise bday party. How do I know its a surprise party? Because I fuckin heard SURPRISE!!!! I hella woke up and now I can't fall back to sleep. I'm hungry as fuck and I'm stuck here alone until somebody gets back from a bar. Fuck my life right now.
Let's see, I went to all the websites I usually go to and read anything that's readable. That killed a good hour. I played online games like the fish pond game and tower defense which killed a good 45 minutes. Wow, 3 hours I've been here. This nigga ass shit man. I don't have a jacket to keep myself warm outside because its fucking cold right now, so going outside isn't an option. I'd like to ride up and down the street and practice shit on my bike, BUT I'm stuck in here for god knows how long. If only the fuckers up top would SHUT THE FUCK UP for an hour I wouldn't be so damn cranky right now.

San Jose Bike Party

Just came home from the San Jose Bike Party, and boy am i exhausted.
To be honest, this bike party sucked. It was slow as hell and hella people were drunk and/or high as fuck. The highlights of my night were bombing down the fat hill on winchester and brian eating shit after rubbing on my rear wheel(LOL).

I really wanted to go to this bike party at first just because I had recently installed my Sugino75 cranks, Sugino Superlap BB, MKS Custom Nuevo pedals and my front H+Son wheel. After leaving the bike party mob and sprinting with a few dudes in the front, the ride turned from boring as fuck to pretty fun fun fun. Alex(Fat) and I sprinted from the winchester hill to the end of san carlos.

Well my asian ass is dead as balls, I'll try to post some pics of shit and blog more later.

Last night I had a fun filled day in the east side(San Jose). I biked from Brigadoon(Near Silver Creek High School) to Alex Cabuag's home(Battry Aziz). I was chillin' with my buddy Anthony Cortes being bored as hell. We decided to hop on our bikes and start riding our bikes around. When we got to Alex's house, I played some 1 on 1 gamebattles matches for him going 2-1 that night.

damn, i have no life.

Since I recently cracked my fork, i've been snooping around for new bike parts. Nothin really special though. Sent in my fork for a new replacement and the aerospoke to trade for a rear track, gloss black, non machined one.
I picked up a Sugino 1/8 chain ring because my stock is 3/32. Its wearing kinda funny. I ended up not getting a chris king headset after all. I couldnt find better reviews than "its smooth" or "its reliable" on the headset. Depending on what the bike is used for other cheaper headsets can be at the same par. I decided to go with the Tange-seiki Techno-Glide.

Despite the gay ass Techno GLide name, the reviews on them were decent. One of my really old buddies who was in the fixed gear scene(2000) happen to have one lying around sold one to me for 40 bucks NIB(retails around 70-80).
I always lose or break my lights. I managed to break/lose a front light and two back lights. For the sake of my wallet, I wanted to try out knog lights. For 10 a piece theyre cheap and small, but theyll get the job done.

Well all I have to do is sit and wait until all these parts come in.

After watching my old youtube videos, I feel like making more. Like MOAR. I think in my next video, I'll have a dance montage of my good friend Nasser. Assembling the finest moments of his dancing profession will make the perfect montage. I'm not quite sure when this will be planned. None of our videos are ever planned, but I think this particular video will have to be perfectly executed. We'll see in the future.

Looking at James Nachtwey's photos reminded me of the film War Photographer I watched months back. Its about a bunch of war photographers(well-known photographers) putting their lives at risk taking photos of combat and the society affected by it. Continuing from the last thing i bought(Giro Ionos), I picked up Pearl Izumi biking shorts, Toshi Double Straps, MASH SF Green Velocity Deep-V, Dura-Ace Cog/Lockring, Vittora Rubino Tire, U-Lock and some tools. All i have to say is GAH!
The half links in my chain are too small for my cog is catch, soooo I cant ride until i get a new chain with the proper measurements.

Hello, I am a bear.
Yesterday was my birthday, but let me rewind a bit. So a few weeks ago, I had Vietnamese food for the first time (courtesy of Q). It was pretty sweet. Then, that same day, we drove up to SF to visit Kenny at Fatlace and to survey the Legion of Honor and Palace of Performing Arts. Besides getting lost for FIVE HOURS, it was pretty gnar. Now about my birthday...
I went on a picnic today with Q featuring international cuisine. Very nice :]. Then we chilled at Shisha with Fermin, Nasser, Dan, Jesus, Joey, Alex, Brian, and Kim Long.

DAMN! I havent been on this blog for a hellz of long time. I feel like being black tonight since I'm listening to Black Kids. I dont know why, but theyre pretty gnar(imo).

This is the SanJose Fixed BBQ that was held in the Almaden Lake Park. It was coo to chill with other local fixed gear riders. There's nothing better than eating steak and drinkin' some beer.

After the BBQ, Kenny Chow and I hit up some trail near oakridge that lead us down the street from Gunderson High. After doing some skids on the blacktop, we met up with Q and ate at the yogurt shop(dont remember what it was called) near TAPx.

Later that night, Q and I decided to visit Pizza Hut where we got the special chance to see Nasser's new name tag. His name is now Alberto Nasser Khan. Whatta prick.

A couple days later(lost track of time), I hit up Cupertino Bikes off of De Anza Blvd. I picked up a Continental Ultra Gatorskin for my rear wheel. Its so much thicker than the stock shitty tire. I think it was worth every penny.

Yesterday, I met up with Brian Au to check out his new Windsor The Hour bike. We rode around the neighborhood for a good half hour just to kill time while I waited for my paycheck to come in. I rode it enough to say its different from my bike. And its white. Not green, white.

When paycheck finally came in, Nasser and I went back to Cupertino Bikes to pick up this Giro Ionos helmet. I RIKE IT AROT!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!

I just got in my Pearl Izumi half finger Gel-Vent gloves in the mail. Unfortunately, I havent had the chance to use them. I have a few more things im waiting for in the mail box like my stem, fork insert, and headset cap. Until those things come in, im at a complete halt on the road of fixing my bicyclones. Yesterday was a pretty good day of boredom and fun. Q, Cablove, and I decided to hit up Fatlace in SF to visit our friend Kenny. We ended up chillin at Fatlace until closing, and headed to a bike shop(forgot the name) a few blocks down. I finally picked up a front Velocity Aerohead with IRO hub. All I need now is a tire and some rim tape. Hopefully I'll be on the road to fixing the bike up soon.

Yesterday, I opened the store up so I can get home as soon as possible. Why? Because my new fork was coming in the mail! So I got off at 3ish and decided to head straight home to have my package in my arms. When I got home, it wasnt there. Instead it came 5 hours later, but I found productive activities to kill time. Michael Hang is going to come over later today and help my chop extra fat off my fork because the steerer tube is long. Oh yeah I forgot, I watched Tropic Thunder with Nasser, Milad and Q last night. The movie was pretty funny and I liked it. I'll leave the movie review to my brother Khamburger.

My Tioga Spyder racing saddle came in just the other day. Since my fork and front wheel aren't present, I cant really try out my new saddle. Hopefully sometime this week, my bike will be in working condition so I can stop driving to work. Welcome home to Brian Au. He returned 2 months early from his trip around Korea and Japan. Im pretty stoked that he's home early. Brian just purchased his new bike from bikesdirect. I cant wait until he gets it in. Speaking of bikes, I just had my 4th or 5th flat tonight. I dont feel like talking about it because flats are ghey times eight.
Let's see, what I did today.. I hung out with Brian for the first time in months. I let him ride my bike around, so he can get comfortable with fixed gear bikes. Took a few photos on his street, but I didnt have the tripod so the photos came out pretty whack. Went to work after blah blah blah, now Im here. Well im tired, and I need to look for some tires or something.

Sorry I haven't been updating this often as i should. Let's recap on yesterday.. I went to work in the morning, met up with Dan and Nas after work so they can get their bikes. Later in the evening we Dan and I rode to Nas's place to ride around his neighborhood. Before wee all cut out, we went up lyric lane(the big as hill next to Davis) I went up a little more than half way then tired out. Riding down the hill at full speed was pretty damn scary. But yeah, that's pretty much it. Hopefully i'll do something amazing over the weekend.

Today, well yesterday(late blog) was my first official day of being a Lids associate. So far everything seems pretty chill, and im looking foward to going to work. I have no right to complain about my schedule or anything, but I have a good feeling about this.
Anyways, Michael Hang got me a rear tube so I can bike without worrying about a flat. I also uploaded our Sunday afternoon vid on youtube. Pics on the bike will still have to be postponed.
Let's do a quick movie review since I haven't done any lately. I'll start off on the most recent flick i watched. I watched Shutter today with Tina, bottom line is that its not scary at all. Once again, the trailers have deceived us. Its not scary, creepy yes but far from scary. It has an average story line, but for some reason i think the movie was rushed. One thing i liked in the whole movie is the camera technology. Hassleblad all the way, those babies are sexy. I dont wanna make the movie seem hella bad, its still worth watching for those into creepy movies and those wanting to see Hassleblad cameras. Id rate it a 6 out of 10. the Movie was meah.

Today was my first day of work at Lids! Leslee trained me today, so i guess it isnt my "offical" first day of work. Im looking foward to racking up some paper and serving some chill ass new eras. A big ass thanks to les for hooking it up.
I was planning on posting a video blog today on what I did yesterday(July 20th Sunday). Until then, the video will have to wait.
I still havent taken any pics of my bike, as soon as i fix my flat, ill consider taking pics soon.

I got my Mercier Kilo TT(Bright Green 50cm) bike on tuesday, and ive been riding it every day. Im pretty stoked that i got a bike because now i can go out and exercise instead of sitting on my asian ass playing call of duty all day. Yesterday, I bought a new tube and some Ritchey carbon drop bars but since they are 31.8mm which is too big for my stock clamp, i now must buy a new stem. I'll post pics as soon as i can.

Well, I haven't done anything too productive over the week because of the heat wave. I am limited to sitting in front of the fan or duking it out until night just to sit again. Over the week, Ive been fighting crime helping the world from threats from other planets and I relaxed in my multi-million dollar mansion in france. Other than that, Ive been pretty much bored.
My bike delivery date was suppose to be today, but UPS pushed it and rescheduled the bike to the 15th, so ghey.

Yesterday felt productive, yet I still felt bored for more than half the day. My brother came home for the weekend, but he hung out with his girlfriend so we didn't get to chill too much. Let's get back to Sunday. When I woke up, I remembered my dad had a vintage Schwinn road bike in the backyard shed. I thought to myself, theres only boxes to move out and around. For a good hour and a half, I battled through small and big boxes, and some weird ass objects i've never seen before. I didn't know the frame was buried under 3 different bikes and wrapped around a vacuum tank thing. I swear, just imagine a vacuum with tank treads and an armor shell. After pulling the bike with all my might, it finally budged through and I came out victorious. Cleaned off the bike of dust and webs, stripped most of what was on it, except the kickstand which is welded on the frame and the cranks. I wanted to strip the rest of the bike so I can paint it (white) and slowly rebuild it. But Im going to spend much of my money on my upcoming bike, so it leaves me with nothing for the Schwinn. I think I'm just going to post it on craigslist and sell it for 100 bucks. I really want to sell it to a friend who is committed to build up this bike. I want to see how it looks after all these years. If anybody wants it, 75 bucks and its all yours. Just remember, a lost of work needs to be put into it before you can ride it. New wheels, stem, cranks, chain, handlebars, seatpost, seat, and paint. Probably around 200 bucks would put this on the road again.

I haven't been posting on this blog for a while. I really haven't been doing anything other than lagging on my essays. Let's do a quick recap on yesterday before I head off. I went to Dotty's Pond near Bernal Intermediate to snap some photos of Nasser and his buddy Milad. Chased some quails, ate some wild berries, and stared at deer. Later that night, Tina and I drove up to Mt. Hamilton to watch the sunset. We got a nice view of the city and the fires near Santa Cruz. After that, I met up with Tina Tran and Joey and we hit up the Hookah Lounge(Shisha) in downtown. Well there you go, a MEAH Saturday.

Wrapping up my 3rd Photo Project of three photos that tell a story. Note: these are just candid portraits, not actual photo.

Now, let's recap a little bit. The first photo was taken at Dan's during night time, and his room is very very dim. So, we had to get this lamp that heats up a million degrees in a matter of seconds and use that for our lighting. We softened the lighting by placing pieces of computer paper over the lamp.
Since this project is suppose to be photos that tell a story, I'll let you figure out whats going on.

Let's sorta recap on what went down yesterday. I watched two movies, Semi Pro starring Will Farrell and The Eye with Jessica Alba.
Semi Pro

Personally, I thought this movie was kinda retarded. Even though Will Farrell is a genius, It's another one of those movies that fits in the same category of Talladega Nights. It had its funny parts but overall, the movie sucked. I wouldn't be surprised that it got bad ratings because I dont remember it ever being in theaters. Anyways, its about a small basketball league thats about to close down, and the top four teams are going to merge into the NBA. Will Farrell's character's team has him the owner, coach, promoter, and power forward. Instead of actually playing the game of basketball, he focuses on entertaining the five people as an audience. His team tries to get into the top four hoping to merge the team in the NBA. Overall rating: 6 out of 10.
The Eye

This movie starring Jessica Alba(she is so hot) is pretty straight forward. She's blind, gets a new pair of eyes, the eyes are haunted, and she tries to figure out what the donor went through. Jessica Alba's character is blind because she played with firecrackers when she was five(lol?). Then the doctor got some eyes from a donor and stuck them into Alba's head. Little do they know, the past donor could see death before it happens, and that gift carried on into Sydney(Sorry thats the name of Jessica Alba's character, I wouldve put that earlier, but I dont wanna go back). She doesn't realize whats happening at first, so she goes on a investigation and figures out what happened with the donor. Its a pretty cool movie, it isnt scary though. I think the scare factor would fall similarly to The Orphanage, maybe a little less scarier. Overall rating: 8.5 out of 10.

Last night, Dan, Joey, Jon, Kim, and Nas came by and hung out for a bit. Didn't do much but it was chill. We haven't chilled outside my house for a month or so. We all figured that since we're always bored, we decided to go back to gunbound. Yeah yeah, its a kiddie game but it keeps our interest and its a free game to play. Since gas is expensive up the ass, nobody ever wants to drive anywhere. So gunbound is a great way to avoid the high gas prices. Bring your cacktop to Dan's or just DL it onto your computer at home.

El Orfanato

Last night I watched El Orfanato at Tina's movie night. It was a Spanish flick with english subtitles. Its about this chick and her family, they return to the house she grew up as an orphan hoping to house kids in special needs(retards). The chick and her husband adopted this prick kid who has an illness and he can see the spirits in the house. I dont feel like talking about too much of the movie because I'm getting lazier to type it out and I don't want to spoil it for anyone. Anyways, I really enjoyed the movie, it has a pretty solid story that keeps you on the edge. I'd give it a 9 out of 10. Btw, its not a scary movie, just thrilling, not scary.

Man vs. Ghost

I had this vision last night about my own ghost movie I can abuse the power of special effects with. It's going to be called Man vs. Ghost, simple title that gets to the point. I like that. It's going to about a man who has problems in the city and needs to get away and move out into the country side to relieve all his stress. He rents this old Victorian home and at first sight, he falls in love with it. It begins all happy and gives a sign of hope. Then those random scenes where he leaves a room, and suddenly a door in the background closes. This would be the first sign that the house is haunted. Well to get to the whole point of the movie. The man moves to house, experiences hauntings, does investigation, discovers that a soul of a murderer is lurking around, then the climax of the movie begins. He must fight the ghost without fear to get rid of it forever. So he goes to the gun shop and purchases a dozen of rifles and handguns. As he returns home, he is ready to fight fire with fire. When he sees the silhouette, he starts firing aimlessly and as the apparition evades the fire, it dual wields high power pistols and shoots back. Now we have an intense fire fight around the house, both with weapons and fist-to-fist. The main character is being chased by the ghost and with the help of John Woo, the man jumps and turns 180 degrees in mid air and shoots his rifle behind him. Remember this is all in slow motion. As he hits the floor still shooting, he hits the gas line and realizes he must get out of the house. As he jumps out the front window, the house blows up into the night sky. He gets into his car and drives off. Suddenly, a truck pulls behind him at full speed, he sees through his rear view mirror that there isnt a driver and something is shooting at his car. Now we have a crazy driving/shooting scene. After 5 minutes of driving and shooting, they both total their cars and start fist fighting. When the main character loses the fist fight, he prays and the ghost disappears into the night. I need more work on the ending but i'll pull through. The movie is going star Morgan Freeman as the main character and Tom Cruise as the apparition. Since Morgan Freeman is pretty old, I want to use Jackie Chan as the stunt double. When I have them contacted, I'll have a release date on my movie then.

Friday, I'm in love..

No not really, but I really like that song(Friday I'm in Love- The Cure). Let's recap from yesterday.. Actually let's just recap the "interesting" events that happened yesterday. Well let's skip a few chapters into the evening. I went to Pizza Hut with Dan to dump some wood in the dumpster, and eventually Joey and Nas met up with us there. After Kim Long got off of work, we all headed to Dan's place to enjoy a nice Joey made pizza. Whew, I'm running out of breath, so much excitement going on, my brain is thinking too fast for me to type. Me and Nasterbater mass debated with other master debaters that night. It was pretty intense, I mean we almost lost our mass debates, but eventually the master debaters were Nasterbated and we pulled out as the victor. After the mass debates, we all stepped out to throw the boomerang. Every time we threw the boomerang, we weren't able to see the thing since it was so dark out. So once that dangerous child's toy took flight, we hit the deck as if the Japanese were bombing us. Suddenly, our fun was ended due to Nasser's poor judgment. As we were running back to the "safety" fence, Nasser decided to toss the boomerang out into the endless black air without any of us keeping an eye to where it would land. While Nasser tossed the boomerang like a woman, we hit the deck and that would be the last we've seen the green boomerang. For a good hour, we set search parties throughout the dark field and at the same we were constantly attacked by the sprinkler system. We never found the boomerang.

I was talking to Tina a few nights back, and I asked a question: Do you ever talk to yourself out loud?
She said no, she never says a word to herself out loud. I was shocked because every little project I do alone without a soul near me, I tend to say something out loud. Sometimes I repeat what my eyes are seeing for no apparent reason. If anybody out there is reading this, do you talk to yourself out loud?

Back to school after memorial day weekend. Not much happened during my weekend, but it was nice to have an extra day to relax from school. I'm kinda bummed that I didn't get the chance to watch the new Indy. Sooner or later I'll come around and watch it.
On the other hand, I watched three movies which were meah.

The Science of Sleep featuring Gael García Bernal, is about a dude who confuses his dreams/imagination with reality. Don't want to give too much away but that's basically what the movie is about. You'd have to watch it to understand what how he confuses his imagination with reality. I thought it was a weird movie, a really weird movie. I was confused more than 50% of the time and the ending still leaves you puzzled. I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

Diary of the Dead is about a group of college students who are trying to make a film and a zombie breakout happens to interrupt it. So the students try to head home coming across obstacles blah blah blah. It's shot Cloverfield style so it had a good idea going. The acting was very cheesy and it seemed that the characters had no logic whatsoever. The whole point of the movie is that people are so drawn to what is in the media. You don't act, you only watch. I thought this movie was lame. 4.5 out of 10.

Ended off the streak of mediocre movies with 40 Year Old Virgin. I've watched it multiple times but Tina hasn't seen it. It's about a 40 year old virgin trying to get laid. It's funny and I like it. 9.5 out of 10.

Past few days were photo filled jam packed action fun. On Saturday, I finally went to Alameda to go to Kenny's house to later hit up Fatlace. It was Asian Heritage festival that day right in front of Fatlace, so I got to look at the little car show. After Kenny got off of work, I had a little photo shoot with him around frisco. Today, Kim Long and I went to go hit up Downtown San Jose and do a little photo shoot for my class. It turned out okay, the lighting wasnt what I expected it to be. The thin clouds covered the sun which gave the lighting a hazy look/feel.

Nasser is mass debating whether or not he is going to invest in a fixie(fixed gear bike). As on of the master debaters, I am trying to persuade him in buying one, so we can ride in style while we embark on our youtube project. So to Nasser, hurry up and make up your mind.

Yesterday we started the "Final Dance Fight" shot at Coyote Creek Park off of Blossom Hill. We finished the inception of the final fight that day and now we are mass debating on what's coming next. Stay tuned to my Youtube Channel for latest videos(Channel: hkarmykid). Hopefully we can continue the Nasser Khan Chronicles soon, since we left off at the beginning. I dont have any ideas coming to me yet, but I'll try to make the chronicles my top video priority.

Just got off of school and for some reason my cold is taking its toll again. Boy, do I feel like crap right now. Im probably going to head into bed for a while to wake up and meet up with Nasser. I have a pretty good video idea that I want to go over with him.
Im in no mood to play video games right now, especially guitar hero. Too many things happening in the game, I'll end up getting dizzy and feel even worse.

I'll try to read a Shakespeare book Tina picked up from the MLK library. It looks so cool because its like 128 years old. So I shouldnt let the text go to waste while I have it in my possession.

Tina and I have been watching movies starring Gael García Bernal, a hispanic actor who is pretty good. Well we watched Motorcycle Diaries and Y Tu Mama Tambien. Motorcycle Diaries was a very good movie, slow but I liked the story behind Che Guevara's history. I did not like Y Tu Mama Tambien, I did not like it as much. Its a weird sexually graphic movie. I do not want to spoil it for anyone, just watch it.
